Employee Benefits
Darlington County DSN Board offers a comprehensive benefit package through the State of South Carolina. Health, dental, life, disability and long-term care insurance are offered through the SC Employee Insurance Program. In addition, supplemental insurance can be obtained thru AFLAC and Colonial Life. All employees are required to be a member of the SC Retirement System. Employee contributions are currently 6.5% of gross wages. Another pre-tax savings program is the SC Deferred Compensation Program. This Program is voluntary and is not employer matched. The board also provides a generous leave package including holidays, vacation, sick, family and medical, bereavement, jury duty and military.
